Chiringuito Ranchon Cubano in Marbella

"I really enjoyed the experience here (both the beach /sunbeds and the food). First, the sunbeds are cheaper than average in the area (€10), and we always found some available. The price is clearly displayed. The staff is nice and friendly, without being intrusive. We also had lunch. The food was fresh and delicious. It's varied enough to satisfy most tastes, including children (pizza and burger available). I recommend "Ropa vieja" (it's like pulled pork). Also, the sangria is amazing!"

"Spent a week in Marbella with my family and we went every day. Struggling to understand the negative comments about the food. It’s a beach bar for goodness sake. Staff are lovely, especially Angel who deserves 5 star. Food good and drink’s excellent. Music in afternoon/evening at weekends is great fun and everyone had a smile on their face and swaying in their hips. It’s a place to have fun and feel liberated, not to pose or “be seen”. It’s fun, give it a go"

"For those looking for a laid-back and fun chiringuito, this place is a hidden gem. We've been going here for 3 years and the experience has always been great. Sundays are all about live music and parties that are an absolute blast. During the rest of the week it's a perfect spot for families and kids (the water is shallow). They serve typical cuban food plus pizzas and burgers and the portions are big. The banana chips and the ropa vieja are a must. The sunbeds are only 10€, which is a steal in Marbella."

"Highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to try something different. If you are into Cuban music or not, the place has a real vibe and the food is decent and good value. Nothing fancy as a lot of people come in from the beach in pareos and flip flops. If you decide to make a day of it the beach front is one of the best in the area as there are nearly no rocks and you can walk out several meters to sea. One of the safest for kids because of the low water level."
